Terms of Service

Last updated: May 12, 2026

This document governs the use of the CodeMentor AI service (the “Service”) available at learnpython.academy (the “Site”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by FOP Kravets Viktoria, Ukraine. Contact: support@learnpython.academy.

2. Registration and account

Full access requires an account. You are responsible for password confidentiality and all activity on your account. One account = one person.

3. Subscription and payment

The Service offers a Pro subscription: $12/month or $89/year. Payments are processed by Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay supported).

4. Free trial

The first 7 days are free. A valid payment card is required to start the trial — this confirms you are a real person and lets the subscription continue uninterrupted. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card will be automatically charged $12 (or $89/year), depending on the plan you selected. You can cancel anytime in Dashboard → Settings.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime in Dashboard → Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period — after cancellation your access continues until the end of the period.

14-day refund guarantee: if you change your mind within 14 days of your first payment, email support@learnpython.academy and we will refund you without follow-up questions. Same policy worldwide.

EU consumers: this 14-day window also satisfies your right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 16(m). By starting the trial and accessing lessons, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the digital service. You retain the 14-day refund right above regardless of the consumption-waiver clause.

6. Prohibited use

  • Attempting to bypass the paywall, sharing accounts, transferring access to third parties.
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, automated content extraction.
  • Uploading malicious code via the task editor.
  • Abuse of the AI tutor (generating disallowed content, spam).

7. Intellectual property

All Service materials belong to CodeMentor AI. Code you write in tasks belongs to you.

8. AI tutor

The AI assistant is a tool and can make mistakes. Do not rely on its answers as absolute truth.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid over the last 12 months.

10. Changes to terms

We will announce material changes by email at least 14 days in advance.

11. Jurisdiction

Ukrainian law applies to these terms.

12. US users — arbitration + governing law

If you reside in the United States: any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved individually through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and not in court. You waive any right to participate in class actions or jury trials. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first using the Service by emailing support@learnpython.academy. Claims under $10,000 may instead be filed in small-claims court in your state of residence. The substantive law of the State of Delaware (USA) governs these terms for US users; this section is legally authoritative in its English original.

13. Eligibility

By creating an account you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are 13–17, a parent or legal guardian must consent to your use of the Service. If we learn a user is under 13, we will close the account and delete personal data in compliance with COPPA (US) and GDPR Article 8 (EU).
