DMCA Notice

If you believe content on Learn Python Academy infringes your copyright, you can submit a DMCA takedown notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512. Valid notices are typically processed within 1-2 business days.

1. Where to send

Email your written notice to support@learnpython.academy with the subject "DMCA Notice".

2. What the notice must include

• A signature (electronic or physical) of the authorized person.
• A description of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
• The URL or precise location of the infringing material.
• Your contact information: name, email, phone, address.
• A good-faith statement that you believe the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

3. Counter-notice

If your content was removed in error, you can file a counter-notice with the same kind of elements plus consent to jurisdiction of the U.S. federal court in your district (or ours). If the original complainant does not file suit within 10-14 business days, the content may be restored.

4. Repeat-infringer policy

Accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright are terminated, in line with § 512(i).

5. False claims

Submitting a knowingly false DMCA notice can make you liable to the alleged infringer and to us for costs and damages (§ 512(f)).

6. What this procedure does NOT cover

Non-DMCA complaints (e.g. defamation, privacy issues, trademark problems) — email the same address without the "DMCA" tag and we'll respond on the merits.
