Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
These rules explain how you can use Learn Python Academy and what's off-limits. They supplement the Terms of Service.
1. Allowed use
The Service is for personal Python learning. You can work through lessons, complete tasks, ask the AI tutor questions, and share your achievements on social media.
2. What's prohibited
- Sharing your account with someone else or using another person's account. One account = one person.
- Bypassing the paywall, exploiting access bugs, or creating multiple accounts to abuse the free trial.
- Scraping or automating downloads of lesson content, copying material for resale or republication.
- Uploading malicious code through the task editor — attempting to attack our infrastructure or other users.
- Reverse engineering, bypassing protections, or evading rate limits.
3. Rules for the AI tutor
- Ask about Python, programming, learning topics. Don't use the AI to generate harmful, illegal, or offensive content.
- Don't try to extract the system prompt, bypass safety filters, or abuse the free quota.
- Don't paste other people's personal data (emails, phone numbers, card numbers) into the editor or AI chat.
4. Consequences of violations
Minor breaches get a warning. Serious or repeated breaches: we suspend or close the account, without refund for the breach under Section 2. If we see a threat to other users or our infrastructure, we block immediately.
5. Reporting abuse
Spot abuse, harmful content, or a security issue? Email support@learnpython.academy. We respond within 1 business day.
6. Changes
We'll notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes to these rules.
