What Pro actually gets you in 8 months

Total spend: $12/mo × 8 months. Target: your first Python role in a market that pays €40-70k EU / $110-180k US at junior level. Milestones are deliverables under your control — we don't promise offers, we promise you'll be ready to earn them.

Month 1-2

Python fluency

You read and modify any real Python codebase. Foundations track finished. First 3 useful scripts shipped.

Month 3-4

Backend deployed

Full FastAPI + Pydantic v2 + PostgreSQL + JWT + Docker + tests. First real API live on Fly.io or Railway.

Month 5-6

Portfolio-grade project

The second project that gets callbacks — deployed, README with tradeoffs, real users. This is the resume piece.

Month 7-8

Interview-ready

40 LeetCode problems solved, 10 STAR stories written, 3 mock interviews done, CV tuned. Applying with realistic conversion.

Timeline assumes ~12-18 hours/week of focused practice. Faster with prior technical background; slower with less time available. First offer typically lands 2-4 months after month 8 (100-500 applications is realistic for a career-switcher's first role in 2026).

Résumé-ready credentials you earn

Each track packages into a named credential you list on your CV and LinkedIn. Not a diploma — a signal that you shipped the exact skills the role hires on.

Python Foundations

60 / 90 lessons

  • Python 3.11+ syntax and idioms
  • Data structures: lists, dicts, sets, tuples
  • Control flow, functions, classes, exceptions
  • File I/O with pathlib + context managers

FastAPI Backend Engineer

45 / 75 lessons

  • FastAPI + Pydantic v2 for typed REST APIs
  • PostgreSQL with SQLAlchemy 2.0 or SQLModel
  • JWT authentication and role-based access
  • Docker + pytest + CI-ready project structure

Data Science with Python

40 / 65 lessons

  • pandas and polars for tabular data at scale
  • NumPy for vectorised numeric computation
  • scikit-learn: regression, classification, evaluation
  • matplotlib and seaborn for publication-grade plots

AI Engineering with Python

30 / 50 lessons

  • LLM API integration (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) with retries
  • Prompt engineering: system prompts, tool use, structured output
  • RAG pipelines: chunking, embedding, retrieval, evaluation
  • Agent design: planning, tool calling, guardrails

Credentials appear on your dashboard as you cross each track's completion threshold. LinkedIn direct-add and PDF export ship in a follow-up.

Frequently asked

I'm a total beginner. Will this work?

Yes. The first module (lessons 1–15) is free precisely so you can try it. The AI explains errors plainly and walks you step by step.

How much time per day?

10–20 minutes a day builds real momentum. Set your own pace — lessons never expire, and the AI tutor picks up where you left off. Everything runs in the browser, no Python install.

Do I need a card to start?

No. The first lesson is open to everyone without sign-up. To save progress we need an email — no card. Card only if you upgrade to Pro.

How do I cancel?

One click in /dashboard. No email, no "why are you leaving" survey. Cancellation takes effect immediately — access ends the moment you cancel and no further charges are taken. If you're still inside the 14-day refund window, the refund fires automatically.

How does the refund work?

14-day full refund, worldwide, no follow-up questions — regardless of how much of the service you've used. Email support@learnpython.academy with your order number and Paddle will refund to your original payment method. EU/EEA/UK statutory 14-day right of withdrawal is preserved in full. See /refund for details.

Is access lifetime, or only while I pay?

While your subscription is active. We don't sell lifetime deals — the curriculum is updated weekly (new lessons, new tracks, new AI features), and a one-time price can't fund ongoing teaching. If you cancel, your access stays live until the end of the period you already paid for, then drops back to the free 15 lessons.

Is my payment secure? Where do you charge from?

Payments are processed by Paddle, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified merchant of record used by companies like Notion and Rive. Card details never touch our server. Paddle handles VAT, sales tax, and currency conversion automatically. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card-on-file work in one click at checkout. 3-D Secure (SCA) is enforced for European cards as required by PSD2.

Which languages are supported?

18 UI languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English, Polish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Romanian, Hungarian, Czech, Slovak, Greek, Croatian, Serbian, Bulgarian. One-click switch.

Why pay vs free ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a general assistant. CodeMentor AI knows which lesson you're on, tracks your progress, and deliberately does NOT give the answer. First a leading question, then a hint, then the solution. Fundamentally different pedagogy.
